Virago Alley is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that serves as a hub for knowledge exchange, skill development, and community building; uniting individuals as well as existing groups who share a passion for historic disciplines.

Virago Alley was formed to develop a physical brick & mortar community center that will provide a combat training facility, indoor archery range, and dedicated workshop space representing various historical trades & crafts. This space will take our fight from backyards, garages, public parks, and tennis courts to an accessible facility armed with tools & mediums to forge, play, and create.

Events we spearhead such as the Richmond Ren Faire and Warriors in Bloom serve as platform for these initiatives with the goal of bringing this community center to life so that these skills & techniques can be celebrated, preserved, and practiced year round.
