Cheryn, the head of Virago Alley’s Illuminators and Scribes Guild, will be providing a number of hands on activities for you to connect with these historic practices.

• Learn more about medieval gothic calligraphy

• Paint your own illuminated manuscript

• Learn more about the world’s most famous handmade books

The event is FREE from 6-8pm, serving as the soft opening for “An Exhibition of Viragos” a showcase of works inspired by viragos both historic and contemporary in celebration of Viragos Alley’s grand opening upstairs taking place during September First Friday.
